At Wimmer, we boast an impressive fleet of specialized tractor units with capabilities of up to 800 horsepower, along with a variety of semi-trailers, low-bed trailers, and around 300 "heavy axle lines". These resources enable us to tackle even the most demanding transport tasks.
In close collaboration with our parent company, Felbermayr, we draw upon decades of international experience to provide tailored solutions in the field of special and heavy transports. Our focus lies in project planning and management, not limited to road transport but also encompassing multimodal solutions via rail, water, and air. Additionally, we handle the packing, loading, and preservation of machinery and equipment to ensure seamless operations.
Furthermore, we offer the option of intermediate storage for machinery and equipment weighing up to 250 tonnes at our heavy goods warehouse. Our fleet is specifically tailored to meet the requirements of heavy transports, including low-loaders for cargoes up to 35 meters in length, 3 to 8-axle semi-low-loaders with a load capacity of up to 74 tonnes, deep-bed semi-trailers for exceptionally tall cargoes, and tandem-trailer combinations with loading cranes and covered tractor units.
